How to Find the Right Answer?

Supported by the universal principle of Cause and Effect, it can be inferred that when a problem arises, its solution also inherently emerges; or as popularly known: “there are no problems, only solutions”.

The challenge, therefore, lies not only in finding the answer but in ensuring that it is the most accurate and appropriate, since ultimately, only one has the capacity to provide a true solution to the problem.

Finding the correct answer is, therefore, what will help us make a difference. That's why I want to share the elements that everyone must conquer to become a reference as a problem solver.

  • Learning to identify the voice of the ego. The desire to be right, to win arguments, to stay within our comfort zone, or to cling to our own ideas, among other factors, hinders our ability to find the long-awaited answer, as such endeavors are more focused on satisfying the ego than effectively solving the problem. Learning to recognize and let go of the ego's demands will help us discover and consider different perspectives, leading us to the most effective solutions.

  • Challenging our beliefs. To step out of our comfort zone entails questioning our deeply held beliefs and being willing to explore new perspectives. By challenging what we think we know, we broaden our horizons and open ourselves to new possibilities, thereby avoiding falling into the same patterns that increasingly lead us to problems.

  • Sharpening our listening skills. Contrary to what we are accustomed to believe, the answer we seek can come from anywhere. Expanding our sources of information, as well as being open to listening and learning from those around us - whether known or unknown - will make a difference. Developing keen listening skills involves the constant practice of listening to others without judging or belittling their opinions, as the answers we seek can come from the most unexpected places.

  • Value the answers. Finding the best solution involves an assessment process. As a general rule, those options that require greater effort or appear more complex tend to be the most accurate, as true solutions are not those that temporarily alleviate the problem, but rather those that address its root or cause.

The idea, therefore, is to understand that problems are merely opportunities that life offers us, as individuals or humanity, to find their resolution. It is precisely the search process that invites and propels us to explore a new range of possibilities, thereby ascending the ladder that leads us to our inexorable growth and expansion
